The Story of Suhail

The Story of Suhail is Dr. Abdullah Ali Al Taboor's biographical novel of Salem bin Suhail, remembered as the first Emirati martyr. Commander of the Ras Al Khaimah police detachment on Greater Tunb, he refused to surrender and fell defending the island at dawn on 30 November 1971, two days before the founding of the United Arab Emirates. This is the forthcoming English edition, translated and adapted by Ahmed Shahin Khalisdar.
